SHIPPING & RETURNS

SHIPPING POLICY

GENERAL INFORMATION

All orders are subject to product availability. If an item is not in stock at the time you place your order, we will contact you about any delay to your order. You will receive an email or text update when your order is shipped, when it is ready for curbside pickup, or to arrange delivery.

 

SHIPPING LOCATION

Items offered on our website are only available for delivery to addresses in Canada. Any shipments outside of Canada are not available at this time.

 

SHIPPING TIMES

An estimated delivery time will be provided to you once your order is placed. Delivery times are estimates and commence from the date of shipping rather than the date of order. Delivery times are to be used as a guide only and are subject to the acceptance and approval of your order.

Unless there are exceptional circumstances, we make every effort to fulfill your order within 3 to 5 business days of the date of your order. Business days mean Monday to Friday, with the exception of holidays.

Please note that we do not ship on weekends or holidays.

 

The date of delivery may vary due to carrier shipping practices, delivery location, method of delivery, and the items ordered. Products may also be delivered in separate shipments. We are not responsible for shipping delays.

 

SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS

You can provide any special shipping instructions on the checkout page of our website.

 

SHIPPING COSTS

Shipping costs are based on the weight of your order and the delivery method. To find out how much your order will cost, simply add the items you would like to purchase to your cart and proceed to the checkout page. Once at the checkout screen, shipping charges will be displayed.

Additional shipping charges may apply to remote areas or for large or heavy items. You will be advised of any charges on the checkout page.

 

LOST OR STOLEN PACKAGES

Birch Tree Apothecary & Wellness is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. Please be sure that you have entered the correct mailing address.

 

LOCAL DELIVERY

Local delivery is available within a 25km radius of Birch Tree Apothecary & Wellness' location.

Orders under $50 are subject to a $5 delivery fee.

Orders over $50 have free delivery.

RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

Thank you for your purchase. We hope you are happy with your purchase. However, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return it to us for an exchange only. Please see below for more information on our return policy.

 

EXCHANGES

All exchanges must be postmarked within seven (7) days from the delivery date. All exchanged items must be in new and unused condition, with all original tags and/or labels attached.

 

RETURN PROCESS

To exchange an item, please email us at laura@birchtreeapothecary.ca to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. After receiving an RMA number, place the item securely in its original packaging and include your proof of purchase, and mail your return to the following address:

Please note that you will be responsible for all return shipping charges. We strongly recommend that you use a trackable method to mail your return. 

 

EXCHANGES

After receiving your return and inspecting the condition of your item, we will process your exchange. Please allow at least fourteen (14) days from the receipt of your item to process your exchange. We will notify you by email when your return has been processed.
